Based in Chicago, Paul Liska has guided the restructuring and transformation efforts of several companies across a wide range of industries. An avid golfer, Paul Liska has had the opportunity to play at several of top-rated courses, including Colorado’s Castle Pines Golf Club.

Opened in 1983, the course was designed by architect Jack Nicklaus as a pioneering venue in a mountainous location that could potentially host a major championship. Featuring uneven lies and rolling terrain, the course is characterized as playing fair, but challenging, with a successful approach requiring long, well-hit shots.

Featuring outstanding views of Pike’s Peak, the course requires navigating significant elevation changes. One aspect that makes the course accessible to players of all levels is that challenging holes feature up to five sets of tees that can cut the length of the drive considerably.

As for major championships, Castle Pines hosts The International, which was unique in being the only PGA Tour event to have a Stableford format. This scoring system awards points on each hole, using the player’s performance against his handicap. Unfortunately, The International was ultimately dropped from the Tour schedule.
